Readiness, status and file completion

Overview

The Working Papers app uses status indicators to help teams understand progress.

Common indicators include:

  • Ready or Not Ready
  • Red ticks on tree nodes
  • Not applicable marks
  • Flags
  • Open review points
  • Cloud sync status
  • File status and finalisation status

Red ticks

A red tick can be used to show that a node has been reviewed or completed. Files may require all active nodes to have red ticks before finalisation.

Not applicable

Mark a node as not applicable when that section is not relevant for the file. Not applicable nodes may be hidden using Hide N/A.

Ready / Not Ready

Use readiness to show whether the file is ready for completion or review. If the app says the file is not ready, open the readiness details to see what needs attention.

Complete or finalise a file

Before completion, check:

  • All required active nodes are ticked
  • Open review points are cleared
  • Required documents are present
  • Cloud sync is complete
  • The file is not waiting for unresolved actions

Tips

  • Use readiness checks before trying to finalise.
  • Clear review points as work is completed.
  • Use not applicable marks instead of deleting sections that are not relevant.
