Open PDF documents in the online PDF editor, add annotations and save the updated PDF back to the working paper file.

Tip: use keywords like account, business, subscription, users, roles.

Overview

PDF documents can be viewed and annotated online where PDF editing is available.

Use annotations to highlight issues, add notes, mark evidence or show review work.

Open the PDF editor

  1. Select the node containing the PDF.
  2. Select the PDF document.
  3. Click the PDF edit button.
  4. The PDF opens in the editor page.

Add annotations

Use the PDF editor tools to add:

  • Text notes
  • Highlights
  • Shapes
  • Stamps
  • Drawing marks
  • Other available PDF annotations

Save changes

After editing the PDF, click Save. A success message should confirm that the PDF was saved.

Going back without saving

If changes have been made and you try to leave without saving, the app may warn that changes will be lost.

Download the PDF

Use the download button if you need a local copy of the PDF.

Tips

  • Save regularly while editing.
  • Use comments clearly so reviewers understand the mark-up.
  • Avoid unnecessary annotations on final documents.
