Note: once created the Business Name cannot be changed — double-check spelling.

- To permanently delete the saved logo use Delete Logo (a confirmation dialog appears).
- Enter any additional details (Reg No, VAT, Phone, Website, Employees) and a Business Note (character count shows below).
- Click Add Business to save.
What happens when you click Add Business
- The page validates required fields and shows errors in the top red error panel if something is missing or invalid.
- On success you see the green success panel: “Business registered successfully” and links to the Apps Store and Buy a New Subscription.
- The new business becomes available when purchasing apps and for role/permission assignments.
Form messages and what they mean
- Red error panel: form validation failed (missing fields, invalid email, duplicate code), or server error. Click the × to dismiss.
- Green success panel: business created — follow the suggested links to continue.
- Logo upload errors: wrong file type, too large, or server error — try a smaller image (enable Resize) or a different format (PNG/JPEG).
Common validation rules & tips
- Business Code: short, alphanumeric recommended. Avoid spaces and special characters to prevent lookup issues.
- Business Name: final — confirm spelling and capitalization before saving.
- Email: must be a valid email format; used for notifications.
- Country and Postcode: fill both; they may be used for tax/billing logic.
- Business Note: limited to 1000 characters; the live counter shows usage.
Logo guidance
- Preferred formats: PNG or JPEG. Large images may be resized if you tick the Resize option.
- Preview shows the stored image and a link opens full size.
- Deleting a logo requires confirmation (modal) to avoid accidental removal.
Accessibility & keyboard tips
- Form fields follow visual labels; use Tab to move between fields and Enter to submit the form.
- The confirmation modal is keyboard accessible and closes with Escape.
- The top error panel includes an accessible close button (
aria-label).
Troubleshooting
“Required field missing”
- Check the list of required fields above; the error panel will show which field failed.
Duplicate Business Code or server-side uniqueness error
- Choose a different code and try again.
Logo upload fails
- Try enabling Resize if logo is bigger.
- Use a different browser or smaller file.
- If the error persists, capture the filename, approximate size, and the error text for support.
Page appears stuck after clicking Add Business
- Wait a few seconds (server may be processing).
- If necessary, refresh the page and check if the business was created (avoid double-submitting).
- If you suspect duplicate submissions, contact support with the Business Code and timestamp.
Success panel shows but data not available elsewhere
- Refresh the Apps Store or subscription page; sometimes a short cache delay exists.
Security & privacy notes
- Business Email and contact details are used for billing and notifications — provide an address you control.
- Do not upload logos or files that you do not have rights to publish.
- If your organization requires approval workflows, follow internal policies before creating a business record that will be used to purchase subscriptions.
Best practices
- Choose a clear, short Business Code (e.g.,
ACME_UK) that identifies the legal entity. - Store your logo and business details in a shared folder so multiple administrators can reuse the same assets.
- Keep billing address current to avoid invoice or tax issues.
- Use the Business Note to store internal references (account manager name, billing contact instructions).
Contact support
When contacting support include:
- Business Code and Business Name you attempted to create
- A screenshot of the error panel (if shown)
- The time you performed the action and the browser used
- Logo file name and size if upload failed
