Main sections / fields / actions
Subscription summary
At the top of the page, you will see the main subscription details.
This usually includes:
- subscription number
- business name
- application name
- subscription plan
Use this section to confirm that you are editing the correct subscription.
Number of licenses
Choose the new number of user licenses you want for the subscription.
This is the main setting you are changing on the page.
When you select a different number, the page updates the billing details so you can review the effect before saving.
License usage
The page also shows how many licenses are currently in use.
This is important because you usually cannot reduce the total number of licenses below the number already assigned or actively used.
If you want to reduce the number further, you may first need to remove or reassign existing user access.
Fee details
The fee section shows how the change affects billing.
Depending on your subscription, this may include:
- current number of licenses
- new number of licenses
- billing period
- billing days
- net amount
- VAT
- total due
Review this section carefully before saving so you understand whether the change will create a charge.
Warnings
If your selected change could cause an issue, a warning message may appear.
For example, you may see a warning if:
- you are trying to reduce licenses below the number in use
- the change affects assigned users
- a fee is non-refundable
Read any warning shown before continuing.
Save
Click Save to apply the new license quantity.
If the change is accepted, you will see a success message and may be given links to continue managing your subscriptions or applications.
Reset
Click Reset if you want to clear your current change and return to the original value before saving.
Billing guidance
Prorated charges
If you increase the number of licenses part way through a billing period, the page may show a prorated charge.
This means you are only charged for the remaining portion of the current billing period.
VAT
VAT may be shown separately based on your business and subscription settings.
Review the VAT amount together with the net and total values before saving.
One-time or non-refundable charges
Some license changes, especially on certain billing models, may include one-time or non-refundable charges.
If this applies, the page will normally tell you before you save.
Zero charge changes
In some situations, the total due may be zero.
This can happen where the change does not create an immediate billable amount.
Step-by-step tasks
Increase the number of licenses
- Open the subscription you want to change.
- Select a higher number of licenses.
- Review the updated billing summary.
- Click Save to confirm the change.

You may be trying to reduce the total below the number currently in use.

Try selecting the value again and wait a moment for the page to refresh the billing summary.
If the amounts still do not change, refresh the page and try again.

Make sure the selected number of licenses is valid and does not conflict with the number currently in use.
