Overview

Use Accept Invitation to review an invitation you have received and decide whether to accept or reject it.

This page shows who sent the invitation, which business it relates to, which application you are being invited to access, and when the invitation expires. You can then choose to accept or reject the invitation.


Quick start

  1. Check that the invitation details match what you expect.
  2. Review the expiry date.
  3. Click Accept if you want to join.
  4. Click Reject if you do not want to accept the invitation.
  5. Read the confirmation or error message shown on the page.

Invitation details

The page shows the main information about the invitation so you can confirm it is correct before taking action.

You will usually see:

  • Invitation From — the person who sent the invitation
  • Business — the business or subscription the invitation relates to
  • Application — the app you will be able to access
  • Invitation Sent — the date the invitation was sent
  • Invitation Expiring — the date the invitation expires

Check these details carefully before responding.

Accept

Click Accept to accept the invitation.

If the invitation is valid, your access is updated and a confirmation message appears. You may then be directed to use the Shared With Me area to open the application.

Reject

Click Reject if you do not want to accept the invitation.

You may be asked to confirm this action before it is completed. Once rejected, the invitation is no longer active.

Messages

The page may display messages to confirm the result or explain a problem.

Common message types include:

  • a success message after accepting
  • a confirmation message after rejecting
  • an error message if the invitation cannot be used

A short notification may also appear briefly to confirm the action.


Step-by-step tasks

Accept an invitation

  1. Confirm that the sender, business, and application are correct.
  2. Check that the invitation has not expired.
  3. Click Accept.
  4. Wait for the confirmation message.
  5. Open the shared application from Shared With Me if shown.

Reject an invitation

  1. Click Reject.
  2. Confirm that you want to reject the invitation.
  3. Wait for the confirmation message that the invitation is no longer active.

Common messages and what they mean

Invitation accepted

Your invitation was accepted successfully and you should now be able to access the shared application.

Invitation rejected

Your rejection was recorded successfully and the invitation is no longer active.

Missing invitation information

The invitation link may be incomplete or invalid. Open the original invitation again or ask the sender to resend it.

Invitation no longer available

The invitation may have been removed and can no longer be used.

Invalid request

You may not be the intended recipient of the invitation. Do not continue unless you have confirmed the invitation was meant for you.

Invitation no longer active

The invitation may already have been accepted, rejected, withdrawn, or disabled.

Invitation expired

The invitation has passed its expiry date and can no longer be accepted. Ask the sender to issue a new one.

Unable to update invitation

There was a problem saving your response. Try again, and contact support if the issue continues.


Troubleshooting

I cannot accept the invitation

Check whether the invitation has expired or is no longer active.

Also make sure you are signed in with the correct account.

The details on the page do not look right

Do not accept the invitation if the sender, business, or application looks unfamiliar. Contact the sender first to confirm the request.

I received an error message

Read the message carefully and try opening the original invitation link again.

If the same message still appears, take a screenshot and contact support.

The invitation link does not work

The link may be incomplete, expired, or no longer valid. Ask the sender to send a new invitation.

I rejected the invitation by mistake

Contact the sender and ask them to send a new invitation if you still need access.
